Merit-Based Selection
EAGLOPEN AlgoLab is an intensive, high-impact educational program designed to identify and train Ethiopia's most talented students in programming and algorithmic thinking. The program is built for students who demonstrate exceptional curiosity, discipline, and problem-solving ability.
Conducted within the Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) environment, AlgoLab provides participants with university-level exposure, rigorous instruction, and mentorship from experienced lecturers and professionals.
Words can only say so much. Step inside the classroom and watch Ethiopia's most selective program come alive — the students, the mentors, and the moments where it clicks.
The official AlgoLab film
This is what AlgoLab students learn to master. Pick a sorting algorithm, press run, and watch it think — live.
Reading about gravity is one thing. Feeling it is another. Drop the EAGLOPEN emblem onto six worlds — then leave the surface entirely and survey the Solar System.
The Moon's gravity is just 0.17× Earth's. With no atmosphere to slow it down, the EAGLOPEN capsule falls in perfect silence.
A four-phase progression that takes students from strong foundations to advanced, globally competitive problem solving.
Strong foundations in programming languages, logic, and structured problem solving.
Deep understanding of algorithms, complexity analysis, and efficient data handling.
Competitive programming, logical reasoning, and real-world algorithmic challenges.
Learning within ASTU's academic environment to prepare students for higher education and research culture.
AlgoLab welcomes motivated students who are eager to learn, solve problems, and grow through programming. Each cohort is carefully selected to create a collaborative learning environment where every participant receives meaningful guidance and support.
